Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully.

By accepting a quote from BPR Roofing Services Ltd, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not accept our quotes.

Definitions

"Customer" refers to the individual, firm, company, or authority whose order is accepted by BPR Roofing Services Ltd (referred to as "the Company").  

"Works" refers to the roofing services provided by the Company as specified in the order.

1. General

1.1. All quotations provided and orders accepted by the Company are subject to these Terms and Conditions. Any conflicting terms proposed by the Customer are void unless explicitly accepted in writing by the Company.

1.2. No variation of these Terms and Conditions shall be effective unless agreed in writing and signed by the Managing Director of the Company.

2. Quotations and Pricing

2.1. Quotations are invitations to treat and may be withdrawn without notice. The Company is not bound by a quote until it has issued a written acceptance of the order.

2.2. Prices are based on the cost of materials, labor, transport, and other expenses at the time of the quotation. Should these costs increase before the completion of the works, the Company reserves the right to adjust the contract price accordingly.

2.3. Value Added Tax (VAT) will be applied at the prevailing rate at the time of the quotation. If the VAT rate changes before the final payment, the new rate will apply.

3. Payment

3.1. Payment is due in full upon the completion of the works, including any roof survey reports, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

3.2. If payment is not received within 14 days of the invoice date, the Company reserves the right to charge interest at 3% per day above the current base rate.

3.3. Materials and equipment delivered to the Customer's site remain the property of the Company until full payment is made. The Company reserves the right to retrieve any materials not paid for.

4. Project Timelines

4.1. Any commencement or completion dates provided are estimates only. The Company will endeavor to meet these dates but is not liable for any loss, damage, or expenses resulting from delays.

4.2. If delays occur due to factors beyond the Company’s control (e.g., weather, strikes, material shortages), the Company will be granted a reasonable extension of time.

5. Materials and Equipment

5.1. Materials and equipment delivered to the site for use in the project remain the property of the Company until fully paid for. The Customer is responsible for the security and safekeeping of these materials.

5.2. The Company reserves the right to reclaim any materials not paid for in full.

6. Customer Responsibilities

6.1. The Customer is responsible for ensuring all necessary building permits and consents are obtained before the commencement of works. The Customer indemnifies the Company against any claims arising from failure to obtain such permits.

6.2. The Customer must ensure that the loft space is cleared before the commencement of roofing works. The Company is not liable for dust, debris, or damage caused by nails or other materials during the installation process. Insulation is checked and if sufficient will not be added to. We do NOT under any circumstances remove existing insulation unless otherwise quoted for and agreed prior to commencement of work.

7. Liability and Warranties

7.1. The Company’s liability is limited to the value of the contract. The Company is not liable for damage resulting from foot traffic on the roof, unforeseen structural issues, or extreme weather conditions.

7.2. Any defects must be reported in writing immediately upon discovery. No remedial work should be undertaken by third parties without the Company’s consent.

7.3. Guarantees provided by the Company are subject to the terms of the specific product warranties and are not transferable without written consent from the Company. The Company reserves the right to retract any guarantee if payment is not made within 14 days of completion.

8. Cancellations

8.1. Cancellations are accepted at the discretion of the Company. The Company reserves the right to charge for all costs incurred up to the point of cancellation.

9. Roof Reports and Quotations

9.1. The information in our roof reports and quotations is based on visible assessments. There may be underlying issues not visible during the inspection. The Company is not liable for unforeseen work required post-assessment.
